Wanted: Left side lid cap for 2000-2002 Weber Gold/Platinum series


 
It's on the right. The winds are blowing pretty good right now so here's a pic from the skunk cam.

Looks the same as a DU date code ( 2002) Gold B.

so maybe 2006 moved the temp gauge to the center?

2007 was the first year of 300 series
 
Turns out this one is actually a 2004 model with a DH date code. Reno is just over the hill from you, isn't it? :LOL:

Yeah, I'm at a sky high elevation around 800 ft above sea level. When I bought my house the insurance gal asked me about flood insurance, I said no thank you because if my house flooded, there'd be no one left alive to pay. She didn't understand...
 
One of my friends spent the night in jail there, got drunk and caused a ruckus. Underage drinking, did some things he regretted (we made sure of that!) Oh, to be young and dumb again...last time there we went on a company junket, wife convinced me to buy a big bottle of Kahlua, stashed it on the bus and didn't declare it, crossed over into the US and they made everybody get off the bus while they searched it. I told her to act like she didn't know me cuz I ain't going to jail and I'll come down on the weekends to visit her..

No, it was very much a kind of a Chinese Fire Drill. They let everybody off the bus, maybe 30 people in all. We walked through a door in one end of the building and by the time everybody got off the bus they said ok, everybody back on the bus. We went through a door at the other end of the building and got back on the bus. They never searched the bus at all. 🤷‍♂️

LOL... you guys are all right!! I'm in visiting Vegas right now and the I'm not telling you what's "happened."

@ Ed - I have a buddy who had some "fun" coming home from Cuba a few years ago with some cigars/booze... I was in the Air Force and learned that you don't screw around in other countries. Love "stupid" stories and life is too short not to have fun... when you're young!

To stay on-track... ;)
We used to visit your part of the world yearly (in September), from the '80s until about 10 years ago. Stead was our ultimate destination. We would fly in (never commercially) or drive.
