Vortex thighs

Winner winner….
I put the vortex to work tonight while the wife made some string beans w/rice-a-roni.
I think her beans w/onions and sun dried tomatoes might have stole the show but the chicken wasn’t half bad either.
The thighs are a little dark but very tasty and not over smoked.
I don’t regret buying this vortex one bit.

Very nice cook Andy. Our favorite grilled food is KFC vortex chicken thighs, could almost eat that every night.
Think your wife made a major contribution to that meal also.

We make it several different ways. We use a yellow mustard for a binder, then whatever we decide for the coating. Mix in some breadcrumbs or crushed corn flakes then mix in whatever seasonings you like to that.
One of our go to ones is crushed cornflakes and Weber's kick 'n Chicken.
Mix the crushed corn flakes and Weber's Kick 'n Chicken in a shallow bowl. Rub the mustard on the chicken and put the chicken into the seasoning mixture and coat it well.
There is endless combinations.

Looking good John & Brett.
I haven’t had a good chicken dinner for a while and this sure hit the spot.

Tim that is Rocky Racoon and he is a year and a half and turning out to be great dog.
Ever so kind and friendly with just the right amount protectiveness.

Rich I haven’t tried that cook.
I'm going to cook that kfc in the near future.

Darryl I’m right next to Victoria.
If you ever get out this way I’ll cook you a good foraged meal (y).
