Pretty excited for the upgrade. I have some kind of "bbq pro" that iv been using w/ zero ability to control airflow.. They say copper cooks best.. :)

Congrat's on the new copper kettle. I don't know if they cook hotter, but they sure look good. My copper performer is the first Weber I bought and I love it.
 
Adorable picture for sure. Interesting you posted this. We were in the local appliance store last week purchasing a new refrigerator and as we walked in they had about 20 Weber Kettles assembled and on display. They had copper kettles and a deep dark green kettles. Both were gorgeous. My wife bought me the green. Just couldn't resist. I didn't want one already assembled so they ordered one direct from Weber and I picked it up a few days ago.

Cliff, I had a couple of Lowes giftcards which paid for most of that badboy. I wanted the Green kettle, but the only options in any store in the area was the black or copper. They could have ordered a green one, but i wouldnt get it until the 28th. BOOOOO.. i just couldnt wait that long.

I am guessing for lowes (nationwide chain) its almost the end of BBQ season so options are limited. Lucky me its still 93* in houston. :(
