Untrimmed Tri Tip Fat use


 
Tallow’s the only thing that comes to mind. I finally made my own recently and I’m baffled as to why I didn’t do this before.

Is TT fat good for tallow?

Are different beef fats different taste or texture?

I'm new to making tallow.
 
Any fat will make tallow, the internal fat, "leaf fat in hogs" may be a little better, but it's all good.
 
I love fries cooked in animal fat (tallow) I haven't saved TT fat, but I have cooked down Brisket Fat into tallow and then poured it into the foil for it's rest.
