Wife usually likes to cook these in a pan, last time we had them I did them on the SmokeFire.

Those look great! I'm not a super huge fan of turkey burgers (they are very bland), but we eat them frequently since they are a bit healthier than a traditional burger. I'm sure that sneaking some pork or italian sausage in the mix helps with the flavor, though I'm not sure that will meet my wife's desire for a healthier burger! Adding some smoke is a good idea, though!
That's a good way to get some kick out of the mild turkey, we don't do T burgers very often because it's so bland but with the additions you made I might give it a try.
