Tri-Tip portions

Having a group over this weekend. Will be having Tri-Tip sandwiches. Can someone recommend the portion sizes for each sandwich?

Four ounces ought to be about right, but you can put a little extra on mine. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Four ounces is often quoted, but I think that looks kind of wimpy. I would suggest 5-6 ounces of cooked meat for a generous sandwich.
