I started with a very nice Piedmontese Tri Tip, seasoned with Montreal Steak Seasoning, and grilled with some Oak.

I went with a recent suggestion for the rule of 7(s): direct 7 min, flip, direct 7 min, flip, indirect 14 min, flip, indirect 14 min. Then let it rest 10 min. Served with some crash hots and some creamy horseradish sauce.

Next time I'll go 10 and 10 indirect to get it slightly more rare. ...but a very good meal.
