Torched BB Ribs and Pulled Pork

Last week I WSMed a couple slabs of baby backs.
Smoked with pecan.

Nuked some apple jelly to liquefy it.

Brushed it on, and torched one slab, bbq sauce on the other.

Plated with German potato salad, and corn.

For the 4th it was pulled pork.

The ribs were great, and that glazed crunch was worth the effort.
Next time I plan to use apricot jelly, and maybe a little honey.

Don't know that I did anything different, but the pulled pork was extra tender and juicy.

It's good to be back!
