Pulled out a tomahawk and my son gave me for Father’s Day out of the freezer today cooked it a little bit different than you usually do for the simple reason that my wife has to have her steaks well done by fired up my Weber smoker hit 250 plays the Tomahawk in their season with salt pepper garlic paste it every 15 minutes with butter kept flipping it over to hit internal temperature of 150 wrapped it in foil play some butter inside of it let it sit in there until he hit 180 internal temp pulled it off let it sit for about 30 minutes and then we sliced it it came up tender my wife liked it so I’m happy

Nice looking Tomahawk, Joe.
Doneness is a problem at my house also. She likes WD and I like MR so we meet in the middle. Reason is we share a steak. Otherwise I would just pull mine off sooner.
