Today's butt cook

I had such great results a couple of weeks ago with 2 8 pounders i cooked i made a stop at wegmans and picked up 1 8 pounder, had the butcher cut it in half so i could freeze one for a later cook. I used the chris lilly injection and rubbed with Full Throttle Hog Rub. Here are a couple of pics with more to come later. Enjoy

Time to eat. The entire cook took 5 3/4 hours. Apple wood was used, made a quick homemade sauce with sauteed corn,red pepper,onion,and garlic. Really good pork tonight.
