Wednesday Night Brats and CheddarWurst

Keeping it simple again tonight with Brats and CheddarWurst. Both were seasoned with Butcher BBQ Honey rub.

Using my GrillGrates again tonight on the Performer. I added about 2 teaspoons of Jack Daniels pellets
from BBQr’s Delight and put the Brats and Wurst on.

At the first turn.

CheddarWurst finished first.

Followed about 5 minutes later by the Brats.

Plated with some left over macaroni salad and sauteed onions.

Both were juicy with great flavor. Still amazed by the lack of shrinkage with these grates.
The pellets added a little smoke flavor.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Sorry about the day confusion, but for some reason I thought for sure yesterday was Thursday. Believe it or not I actually woke up in the middle of the night and was thinking what day did I put on my post. So first thing this morning there it was and oops!!! John B not sure yet what type of changes to my cooking the GrillGrates will make. I just got them the other day and am still evaluating them. So far so good. I think it is part of my "BBQ Addiction" to try new toys on my grills and smokers, at least with me anyway.

Your in good company Mike! We ALL wake up at night thinking about things BBQ. After seeing that spread, I'd had the fridge light on making a midnight snack! Great cook and pic's!
