This was our Saturday of cooking.

We took our weber q on the road and had a picnic up at our local mountains. Lake arrowhead is a nice place and the kids had lots of fun.

Of course I did Carne Asada all I needed was tortillas and meat and salsas. Adult drinks for me and soda for my kids. My brother in law joined us also.

Later in the night we did hot wings. Seasoned with webers kickin chicken and Italian dressing. Used 1 little chunk of apple wood

Here they are. The wings were super hot. Used franks hot wing sauce with 1/2 stick of butter and 4 tbs of cayenne powder

In my local Mexican markets it's always sold thin. But like your regular markets they do thick cuts and I have to trim down.
