Think this is covered under warranty?

Went to pickup some B&B pellets I ordered from a local hardware store today. Had to go to the rear freight door and I see this Smoke fire lined up with old fixtures and other items for the garbage pickup (I assume). No idea what could have caused this and unfortunately the store closed so I could not ask for the story.

My understanding or misunderstanding is that the Weber Warranty only applies to the Original Owner and cannot be transferred??

This one literally fell off a truck...
Would love to see an analysis of the metal. A diagram of the structure too. Maybe crushed between two objects is the cause.
