The weekend cooks

I had planned on trying Lengua for the first time this weekend. I even had the wife onboard to try it. However, when I went to the local american grocery and saw $6.99 a pound,,, I opted for something a little less questionable. I'll swing by a neighboring carniceria and see if theirs is any cheaper. We did scratch the taco itch though with a more affordable cut of roast.









And then some vortex style yardbird this evening for dinner
