The things people throw away

Nice save! I left a 15+ year old 22" CRT monitor next to the dumpster when I moved in 2010. Still was good as new. I only left it by the dumpster because I was in a hurry and I KNEW someone would save her!! Maybe that's what someone did here.

Great save, I'm sure she will pay you back with many great cooks and those dill's will be great on the burgers you cook on that fine kettle.

Illegal and dumb. No one wants a 15+ year old monitor. PLEASE NEVER DO THIS!

Pay the money dispose of your outdated electronics properly!!! If anything it ended up being busted open by a scrapper for $3 worth of copper and then illegally dumped again.

CRT's contain mercury and leaded glass. I work at a landfill and we process electronics for recycling. No one and I mean ZERO people want old crt televisions and monitors.

In my neighborhood people will leave a grill or something that they know can be used out a few days before trash pick up day.
That way the locals can save it before the scrappers can crush it. I have recycled and given away many kettles this way. Along
with bicycles, powerwheels, nice furniture, and lots of fun stuff. Complete baseball card collections, and a golf cart for my son.
One of my better finds was a Sansui 990 stereo receiver with original Advent speakers that worked perfectly.
