How sad, never had any of his products but, when the “old guard” starts to go, it always makes me sad.

He was able to make a living doing what he loved to the age of 79. We should all be so lucky.

We frequented his LV locations on every trip to visit family while we still lived in RI. Some great memories there with birth announcements, birthdays, etc. I would even get some to go before taking the rental car back on the way to the airport. My wife and I even met him at another location after we moved to LV. I always got the t-shirts and my wife got a cookbook he autographed. A real gentlemen. The 2008 recession forced him to downsize locations and by last year when he sold out, there was too much competition.
