There are a few English delicacies that I either don't get, or really have a hard time with. I've tried beans on toast (in London, actually,) and it just seems rather odd for a breakfast dish. Then again, broiled tomato slices? And blood pudding. I've tried it, wasn't really all that bad, but I live with a blood banker. There are parts of a carcass that I just don't need to consume.

Now, Yorkshire pudding. That I can get behind.

There's an interesting series that was broadcast on Food Network, _Adam Richman Eats Britain_. 8 episodes, and I thought it was pretty interesting.

Blood pudding is just fine! My family used to eat a fair amount of offal, liver(onions and bacon of course) not a favorite of mine.
My grandmother used to make a braised kidney dish that was wonderful, I wish I’d been a little more interested on that one!
Tongue? When my dad found a butcher that would smoke them for him he was in HEAVEN! Smoked tongue sandwiches are outstanding! This is making me want a Braunschweiger sandwich!! Thin slice of onion, coarse mustard, heck yes! Out into the snow I will go!!

Iced tea is fine but, I can’t do “southern SWEET tea”!!! Makes me want to hurl!
Tony, you might have to sell me on the beans on toast, I have HP in the kitchen as we speak!
Buy yourself a small can and experiment. It must be thick toast. A sunny-side/easy over "yolker" enhances the dish immeasurably along with the HP.
Edit:
Under no circumstances should Tommy-K be used. The horror! [I'm looking at YOU, yes YOU Mrs TUK].
