The fastest BBQ on wheels;-)

My wife and I are driving up 95 from Richmond and I see this weird tailpipe coming out the back of what I thought was an RV from the back. It was one of those things I had to figure out and I had to go over 80 to catch up to the thing. Then I see the license plate that said "Cool Q" and I am like ***? So I go faster and pass it snapping some pics for posterity. Looks like some custom Jambo smoker. I'll be dammed if I know how they get it on and off the back of that thing.

That is a jambo enclosed with a couple mods. I believe that particular jambo/trailer belongs to Tuffy. Pretty sweet rig.
Who is this Tuffy and why is he toting around his Jambo? The grill is gorgeous and I still don't know how he gets it on and off the back of his rig or maybe he just keeps it there. I imagine the weight of it must no be helping his MPGs;-)

Tuffy Stone of bbq pitmasters fame. Probably on his way to a competition. Most of the guys that mount Jambos on the porch vary rarely take them off as it's a dedicated comp rig. I believe they are around 1100 pounds. I do know he also has one of the double barrel jambo trailers and that thing is insane. My father in-law met him at Memphis in may back in 2018 I believe and said we was just as nice as could be. Took a couple photos, and talked bbq taking time away from his prep. Didn't hurt him too much, I think he took overall that year.

I'm amazed you had that much open space on I95 north of Richmond. Though the southbound traffic didn't look as good.

The southbound traffic was quite bad. We were coming to our new house so we get off at 104 and take 301 most of the rest of the way to King George.

I-95 north of Richmond is nuts. After a certain point they added two middle lanes in the median where they can change directions based on traffic flow, but they never do. One side can be wide open and they have the middle lanes going the same direction where the other side is jammed up.
