Thanksgiving weather

The sun is out, the wind is down, traffic is quiet, I’m still in bed. Coffee is hot!
Great way to start a feast day!
I need to clear out the remains of last nights coal before I fire the 22 but, I’m ready!

Forecast was down to around 10 F overnight, don't think it got anywhere near that cold. At 0700, it was 23 degrees. Looks like a good day to go incinerate some carbon.

Well so far it's not raining yet but it's very windy, temps in the low 40s. Forecast calls for wind and rain starting at 1pm just when I'm going to put the bird on, the rain won't be problem as I moved the performer under the covered patio my only concern is the wind. We have a gas fireplace and the wind was so strong coming down the vent pipe last night it blew out the pilot light. That's never happened before.

We ended up with a fairly nice day. However the breeze and other things (I'll have to tell the story in my review of the dragon BBQ gadgets) made it a pain in the backside to get the kettle temperature to settle in.
