Found this on sale today, Stubb's Injectable Marinades, complete with it's own injector.
This 4 pound bird fell victim to the marinade and the needle.
Once injected inside, the chicken was seasoned outside with Penzey's Galena Street.
Legs wrapped up with a silicone cooking band.
Turned the Weber up to 400ºF, cherry wood for smoke was added,
i then sat back to relax for 'bout an hour.
Cobbed corn was buttered inside aluminum foil above the heat.
After the internal temp of the bird read 169ºF, it was removed to rest...
...while the corn left the foil behind for a direct char.
Served with sweet potato tots , the corn was red pepper flaked & the bird was DELICIOUS!
