Tacos dorados de pollo by Maribel

Maribel made crunchy chicken tacos today... all I did was take pics and eat.

chopped the chicken..


warm the corn tortillas first and make your tacos..


CI on the performer with 1/4 inch of oil. add your tacos


hold the top tortilla down if it wants to curl up..


after 2 minutes or so flip..


plated with lettuce,sour cream, cheddar cheese, tomato, and hot green sauce.

Man those tacos look awesome. I am guilty of relying on modern convenience and never thought of making my own crispy shells and always bought them. I bet that this tastes 10x better.

To us "flautas" are the rolled taquitos.
The ones Maribel made are just tacos dorados.
