Taco bowls à la Case

So imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I tried Case's Taco bowls last night with grilled chicken...outstanding. Thanks for the idea, Case...your cooks are always inspiring.

Marinated chicken in a homemade vinaigrette. Cooked indirect until about 140, then direct to 160+.

Used these ingredients plus some black beans. Wish I had added black olives...

Case's technique worked like a charm. I didn't get the bowls as deep as I wanted, but that's on me. These were easy and excellent. Seasoned with Plowboys.

Mixed diced chicken with filling ingredients, added some salsa, sour cream and a dash of the rub. There's also a base layer of shredded Tillamook cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese hidden beneath.

This was fantastic. Wife agreed. I froze 4 of the shells, but we're probably going to use these up tonight. I rarely go with back-to-back cooks, but these were that good.

Thank you, Case...You've done it again!!!

Killer cook Tim, congrats! Like your tunes. My favorite Billy Joel album is Songs in the Attic, but I'm partial to live music
