Sweet looking Weber Q permanent mount

Why in the HECK does Weber do this? Why would they market all these cool variations over seas and not in the USA?
WHY???

This is something we don't have here in the states.
In the U.S., Weber has Alliance Dealers. Here's a description for one of their websites:

"Boyd's Equipment is the only certified Weber Alliance Dealer in the Texas Panhandle. Weber only gives this certification to companies who are dedicated to providing excellence in customer service and support. As a Weber Alliance Dealer, Boyd's Equipment carries the deluxe line of Weber grills you can't buy from the national retail stores."

That "deluxe line" might have been Summit grills or some of the special color and configurations of Genesis grills.

While some dealers still call themselves Alliance Dealers, on Weber.com that term seems to be replaced by "Full Service Specialty Stores" that offer expanded product selection, expert assistance, product assembly, and delivery.

Because there's no market for a luxury Q in the USA. The price tag on the Q3600 would be around $1000usd

A Summit Charcoal is $1500 and both SmokeFire models are $1000+. Why would a $1000 price tag suddenly make them squeamish? If there is a market in the US for a $1500 kamado, how can there not be one for this?

As cool as it is, I've never actually ever seen anyone local with a Summit charcoal. There are lots of people on this forum that also feel the Smoke fire is not selling well because it's overpriced. If both of those products actually sold better, I bet Weber would be more inclined to bring the Q3600 to north America.

The price for a used Q is super low. The average person doesn't realize how nice a grill the Q is with the cast alluminum lid and fire box.
Most people, at least here in the US, consider the Q to just be a nice portable grill. Maybe in Australia they appreciate how good of a cooker the Q grills are and people will pay the premium for this cool built-in model.
Just a thought.

If there was one country where people would want and be able to afford something like that, it is the USA.

Don't quit your day job to go into your new career as a product marketer. Eye roll, guys.

The market for built-in Q grills is likely limited to the people who are on this board. So basically, non-existent.

No one in the USA is going to do a built-in version of a Q grill. Which in the USA is marketed as a small, portable, tail gate grill with a retail of a few hundred bucks. Totally not a luxury product. Makes as much sense as a built-in Jumbo Joe.

If you are springing for an outdoor kitchen in the USA, you go for a big DCS, Wolf, Viking, Napolean etc. Or maybe a Weber Summit. Which (just like your high end stove inside) will have nine burners, 1 million BTUs, acres of shiny stainless steel, and tons of gizmos. And most of those eye candy appliances will be used mostly to make hot dogs or boil water.
