I saw a post earlier and folks were debating their favorite cut of steak. Ours is the Delmonico or, as I have come to learn a rib eye. Someone had mentioned the sirloin as a fav. Never having partaken of this cut, we found some in the store.
We wanted to celebrate this beautiful weather we're experiencing with another fav, scrimps on the barbie. These two steaks looked ginormous in the package.

One was lightly covered with Tatonka Dust and the other with Wolfe's original. I love this sear plate on the Weber, makes one look like a pro.

We didn't realize that 70 shrimp was a lot between 3, after all they are called shrimp! I found some skewers that Mr Correll has and they worked like a charm, Thanks Bob! The scrimps were covered lightly with Wolfe's Citrus.

The shrimp were XXXX SELLL ANT!!

I pulled the two bahemuth steaks at an internal temp of 135 and let them rest while the scrimps felt the heat. Here's one of the steaks being sliced.

Toni made some of her FAB YOU LISH US macaroni salad. and I found a new beer to give a try at the local watering hole, it's pretty darn good! The young buck knows I like to try different beers and held me a six pack, someone raised him right.

I saved a couple of plated shots for you all, I'll let you decide which one, or knowing a few of you, two of these plates you want.

It was a real belly stretcher although I did seem to find room for a slice of apple pie, (sorry not pictured). Maybe it was just this piece of meat which we all know no two NY strips are the same, just didn't blow my hair back, (which I have very little of). I still love my Del's. Any who, thanks for looking and we hope you all have a fantastic week!
