Sunday Night Ribs

We had been wanting to cook some ribs for a while and yesterday was the day. A few Sunday obligations got us off to a late start but we were able to get them done. Kim made her great homemade sauce and I cooked the ribs and beans on the kettles.

The meal was really good. The ribs were so tender that the bigger of the two racks fell apart into three pieces when I tried to carefully remove it from the rib rack. The whole thing came together nice but kind of late. Thanks for looking! Have a great rest of your week!

Wow those ribs look great, killer smoke ring, done to perfection and excellent BBQ sauce cooked in. How long did that cook go? I'm sure you saw all of five hours, and probably more? Kim is as beautiful as ever

Heads up: I made a batch of BBQ sauce (five cups) In a week it will be ready. I'll be ready for the next rib cook

The sauce I've been making

I tweaked it a bit: 1 tablespoon of ground pepper instead of 2 teaspoons and 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne. No liquid smoke, I start it on the stove and when I add the catchup, I do that on my smoker to get the smoke flavoring

Sauce recipe looks really good Chuck. Kim bases hers on the recipe on page 152 of Webers New Real Grilling.

Monty I've had that meal too many times to count also. As long as they keep asking for it I'll keep cooking it!
