Suggestion for "English roast" cookery?

My local grocery store ran a buy one, get one deal this past week so, I have a pair of the waiting to be enjoyed! I was considering the "dads do grilling" rotisserie project but, I've done that a couple of times and feel like I need to do something new. It isn't going to be exactly warm this weekend but, I'm not deterred by that, my snowblower works!

That's the same as a cross rib or shoulder roast. I stud mine with slivered garlic mixed with fresh herbs and evo.
Do it on the WSM or indirect on the kettle. 300deg till rare med/rare and slice thinly.
Makes a mean pot roast if you braise it .

I do them a lot as pot roast, just wanted some variation. Have not done the garlic studding in a long time, I always liked that! Thanks for jogging the memory! Was just informed that grand daughter would prefer curried chicken! I live to serve!
Maybe the English roast for Sunday!
The "Dads do dinner" rotisserie method is interesting but, like I say, I'm looking for a little inspiration, the garlic route might be a good place to start.

Thanks guys! Brads suggestion was more the idea I was considering.
I'm pretty fluent in braising them but, that looks good too, Tim.
I guess I'm not as fluent as I had previously thought!
