Still Working On The Kitchen,So Pammi Cooked!

I spent last weekend working on the new counter tops and sink. This weekend,the new tile back splash! I seriously,miscalculated my tile,so it took a couple extra trips to Lowe's! But,it's beautiful!

I didn't get any pics yet,but it has a charcoal grout and is absolutely beautiful! Very proud of myself!
However,with the extra trips for supplies,Pammi jumped in and cooked dinner! BCC, skillet fried purple taters and shaved brussels cooked in butter! Along with the first corn on the cob and some baked beans that our friends daughter and SO brought. Very nice!

Somehow,the BS,corn and beans didn't get photographed. But we DID get to eat outside for the first time this year! Woo! Love springtime in the Carolina's!

I really like that counter top and sink. Good work! I feel your pain on the extra trips to the hardware store. We painted a room this weekend and had to make extra trips for paint.

Team work that's what makes it work, you two are obviously in sync with one another and when one is to busy to do something the other steps in and does it. Barb and I are the same way.

Brian,she took the only fresh herbs we have growing right now,rosemary and chives, and mixed it with some butter. She puts that under the skin.
When it warms up a little more,we'll plant some basil,oregano,thyme and some maters!

Great looking cook, Pammi! And great looking kitchen, Phil! You SHOULD be proud of yourself. Those projects are long and frustrating in the middle, but the satisfaction of seeing you're work is incredible. It really looks sharp.
