Steak salad with the new grates!

Howdy folks and happy Friday! Got the new weber sear system so had to give it a workout!

Things getting started!(right off love how thick the CI and SS grates are! Much more substantial then normal grates!)

Got the CI on!

Tri tip strip on and some onion in the background!

Some garlic bread!

All plated with some onion, garlic bread, red rooster mayo and a basic balsamic/oil dressing! Oh and a beer!

And a evenin after shot!

I was a it out of my element as I am so use to banking the coals to one side!

I tried to order the craycort grates but I couldn't ship them to Alaska!

Jim I did have a couple of "Alaskan Stouts" while cooking! I had just picked up the fall assortment of the Pyramid so I thought I would try a few!

Congrats on the new grates!
I bought the "System" a couple of years back when they first came out, and have never regretted it.
They're really nice with a Performer, since you can light a chimney or the baskets without removing the whole grate.
And, like you said, much more beefy when compared to the standard grate.
