Steak´n´taters

Found a nice peice of meat in the store that i couldent ressist. Its a part of the sirloin steak(i guess). Whatever it is it´s darn expensive!(and good ofc)

We cut out 2 tournedos(+2 for the kids that hates red in the meat):confused:


Added some potatoe wedges. Rubbed with oil,thyme,salt,pepper. About half way in.(indirect @ 400f about 45 mins)


When the taters were done the steak and corn was added.

For some reasson i diddent get a "plated" pic before i cut into it. So i had to put the steak back together just for a pic. :D


A garlic/herb butter on the steak.



Quality meat makes some quality eats!

The money shot on that steak brought a tear to my eye!! That was a good looking meal right there!!
 
I'm agreeing with Philip, I do not believe I have ever seen better lookin' potato wedges than these!

Incredible meal. That steak is cooked perfectly...and the wedges? OMG!!
 
As beautiful as that steak looks, it was the taters that caught my eye. Everything looks edible... TWICE!
