SS Mini-Chimney

Thanks Tony that is a great find. For smaller cooks I have had issues lighting a smaller quantity of coals in a big chimney so this looks ideal. The fact that it's stainless steel is good for those of us who ahem may have a habit of leaving the chimney in the garden overnight after a cook.
Deffo Richard. And for £16.99 you can't beat that with a big stick!

Got a notification from GF Grills that they had a new stock of the large chimney starter for £24.99 + 10% discount code, (£22.49). I couldn't resist having been impressed by the quality of the GF Mini-Chimney.

It's the same solid SS construction as the GF Mini SS Chimney.

Daddy Chimney, Mummy Chimney & Baby Chimney.

The large chimney is the exact same dimensions as the large Weber Rapid-Fire.

I remember growing up with my mom’s homemade chimney.
A simple coffee can with a bunch of holes.
I don’t think I used a Weber (or a knockoff) chimney until I was a grown man.

My dad did the same! Same for when I started using a “real” chimney!
Tony, you got it bad, brother!😉

I’m going to drop to a single chimney when my three other ones finally bite the dust, the heavy as sin Røsle I got two years ago is still sitting in the “tool” cabinet!🤨

Pot, kettle... me thinks. ;)

Hahahaha! :ROFLMAO: Pull the other one, it has bells on it!

In my defence. I gifted the Weber chimilee to my buddy who is now starting to dip his toe into the "dark art" of.........charcoal.

OK, everyone on these boards that my statement is total HOOEY! There are five chimneys out there right now, the midsize “Char broil” one is on its last legs, that will be replaced with the “other full size” Weber in rotation. This fall when I walk by someplace that’s having an end of season sale, yeah, I’ll probably grab another one!
The Røsle is a really fine piece of equipment, I don’t know if I want to discolor it with a charge of coal!

The case for the defence rests Your Honour.
