After last weeks rollercoaster weather, and more on the way, today was absolutely beautiful! Sunny,65*. Way too nice to sit on my keister in front of the tube. A local Earth Fare had baby backs on sale for $3.99 a pound,so that was on todays menu. Plus,my WSM was missing me! Okay, maybe it was the other way around!
So anyway,I had been wanting to try some Memphis style dry ribs for a while. Guess what? I just so happened to have all of the ingredients needed AND a fresh slab!
Ribs rubbed.

And on. Cooked at 225*,MM with K and no smoke for flavoring.
While those were cooking away nicely,I put up a new roller shade. It's not that I don't like my neighbor. That way faces west and the sun kills us in the summer.

I also had one of my "King Of The Grill" signs didn't make it. All the paint had flaked off,and that ain't good eats! Ao I took it down, sanded all the paint remaining off and made this.

As it rusts,it's gonna look mighty cool!
I also did a couple of other chores outside that I had been putting off while waiting for the ribs.
Finally,4 1/2 hours later,we had this!

Tender, juicy and with a nice little tug. Just the way I like 'em! And the new rub was good! Not too spicy, but very flavorful! Thanks for looking, everyone!
