Spinning Chickens

Our oldest daughter was home this weekend for her college graduation celebration. She asked if I would grill some chicken for dinner before she had to head back home.

Who was I to complain about having a great excuse to break out the grill and get some use out of my bother's rotisserie that he left here!

Here is the chicken just on the grill.

About 45 minutes in.

And finished.

Sorry, no plated pics, we were hungry and had to dig in. They turned out great.

Thanks for looking!

chicken was the dinner plate across America today, it seems... and in Wisconsin, no less.
Wonderful looks birds Ed! I'm certain your daughter went home veryvery happy!

I got a rotis for Christmas and haven't used it yet, but will probably try a chicken tomorrow. In your pics it looks like you didn't use the spit forks. What keeps the chicken turning (instead of sitting there while the spit turns inside)?
