Spares and Butt Pieces on the Bullet

R.I.P. 3/31/2022
Winter reared it's ugly head here after a few days in the upper 50's.
But the show must go on!

Prepped the spares and 2 chunks of butt on our newly finished island.
I used Tasty Licks rub. (Thanks Mr W!)

Overnight rain had started to freeze, and left 'slick ice' all over the deck.

So I skated out to get things going.

I skated back inside and let her do her low and slow thing.
About 5 hours later.

Snack time!

Made some taters in the oven, wanted to do them on the kettle, but I wimped out.

Plated up.
Some plain, some with Tasty Licks sauce.
(Thanks Mr W!)

Nearly fall off the bone, but had a bit of bite, and were some of my best.

Tasty Licks is great in both the rub and the sauce.
The sauce reminds me a little of Blues Hog.

A third piece of the same butt is cured, and getting smoked into butt bacon today.

Thanks y'all for stopping by!

Bob, those ribs and the taters and the corn (miss that this winter) and the teasers all look FANTASTIC!!
What's that? Bacon, Green Onion and melted three cheeses? on those taters??!! C:cool::cool:L
Like that girlie on the TV commercial sez, "Game DayBUCKETPlate Go BOOM!"

Behave yourself Mister Coffman or i'll send you a very large UPS box of snow AND cold!

Good looking meal there! I bet its mighty tasty too! Your freezing rain picture is kind of cool too! Here in California, we don't get freezing rain. Especially, here in the bay area. I copied the picture and its on my desk top. Thanks for sharing.

That's a very nice and beautifully photographed meal, Bob! Tell us more about those potatoes - they look like something I need to eat.
