Some Simple Steelhead

Fresh, wild caught Steelhead is available at a reasonable price. Had to give it a go.

Gave half a filet a light coating of olive oil and a good dust of K salt and black pepper.

fwiw - am back from a long vacation and happy to be cooking again, though I'm missing the beautiful cool weather of the Oregon and North California coast.

Looks terrific Robert! Looks to be cooked perfectly. Glad to hear you had a great vacation. Your coastal shots look so refreshing. A couple hours inland from both Northern Ca. and Southern Oregon are a much different story. Hazardous smoke conditions. Ashland and Medford are stifling with smoke. Redding as had plenty of awful days as well. Welcome home.
