Just in case anybody thought I was falling down on the job, here are some cooks I've done in the recent weeks. Works been kicking me square in the hind quarters,so I've been real lucky to get one cook a week in!

First of all, some good old BBQ bird!

Seasoned with Webers Classic BBQ rub,it was cooked indirect on the OTS. I sauced it with a sauce I got at a home show a couple of weeks ago. Mrs. C's Soppin' Good sauce. I wish I'd bought a couple or three bottles,I like it that much!
Here's a plated shot. Out of blue box mac n cheese,I grabbed another box of pasta n sauce that was in the pantry. Can't remember which brand or flavor, but it hit the spot!

A few weeks ago,I went to be the strong back/week mind for a book fair. Pammi was buying for the whole first grade(3 other teachers + her). And,best of all,the asst. principal was paying! Out of our own pocket,we bought a couple other books, including a Gilling with K cookbook. One of the recipes was for a lemon/herb chicken. So I raided whatever herbs survived the winter and cooked it on the Genny. It turned out pretty godod!

Finally, spring has finally got to NC! It was sunny and 60's all weekend! I knew it was time for the first Phil-b-q of the year! I seasoned a boneless 4 pound butt with the last of the Webers Classic BBQ and cooked on the WSM for about 6 hours. I used good old K and some hickory.
