What about a little friendly contest of the Coldest Cook, and then later on in the summer another contest of the Hottest Cook and yall can see how southern boys roll too. Pics of food, pit, environment (snow, ice, summer sun, etc) and temperature required.

Heres a couple of 'refreshing' pics for you fellas hunkered down there up north and enduring those brutal temps yall are posting pics of. dang. yall are some dedicated guys.

It will be 26 with sleet tonite but I know that aint nothing for yall. our schools and jobs will probably shut down tomorrow. Texans suck at driving on snow/ice hehehe. yahoo 3 day weekend maybe if were lucky tonite. Anyway yall stay warm up there. the thermometer at 127 was in my garage, after that it shut off due to the heat. some of yall have pretty and incredible views of where you bbq, the last pic is my view during the summer.

don't lift the lid...

Jak that is some heat..my wife was saying this morning she wishes it were summer. I said yeah then you would complain it's too hot. Believe it or not we hit in the low 100s this past summer and with our humidity it felt like around 110-113

Okay where’s Tony R. with a shot of the balmy low 80s weather report for san berdo. He’s probably to busy doing another great cook with Maribel.:)

Thanks Jak, but your pics didn't melt any of the snow up here.

It's -30* C here right not and I only go outside if I have to. :)

Ok so far Berdo Tony is winning with a sandwich for lunch and a brutal 75?? The cook off wasn't tonite but over the next few weeks. I'm sure it gets insane cold up there Canada Dan and Minnesota Mike... If y'all bbq sometime and send pics of those cooks send a pic of the temp. Texas boy is curious how cold it does get up there-

Don't lift the lid...

It's going to be in the 20's today! If you leave your beverage out while grillin/smokin it get's warm. Ours stay cold or freeze........

My coldest cook was -38c last year without the windchill, I really wanted steak that night. Story no pic of the thermometer. This year we are having pretty consistant temps between -18 to -28c.
