Continuing with my freezer clean out. Found a nice sockeye salmon fillet so decided to do that along with some grilled potatoes and asparagus. Used Dizzy Pig's Shakin' the Tree Rub on the salmon. My wife made a wonderful dessert to go along with everything. A Pavlova with Boozy Blueberry Sauce. Brandy for the booze. Here are the pictures.

Potatoes seasoned with seasoned salt, garlic powder, cayan, S&P.

Cedar plank.

Asparagus seasoned with salt, minced garlic, cayenne and all spice.

The dessert was wonderful. It's a little meringue "boat", baked in oven and filled with the sauce. Light and sweet. Perfect end to a great day!

One comment on the rub. Shakin' the Tree is a very nice rub and goes well with fish. It is an extremely salty rub so go lightly with it. Happy Labor Day Weekend everyone. Thanks for looking!
