So she was going this AM to get the grandkids and found this around the corner. Knew it was a Weber and picked it up from by the street. Lid needs to be blasted or something, grate looks salvageable, 2 side tables and it's obviously a Q220.

Right? I told her it was exactly what I traded you for the the larger Q. I am almost thinking of trying out this stripping and powder coating place near Rockford Airport. The paint is too far gone to save, and there is some corrosion on the aluminum where the paint is chipped away. So I am figuring it will need a full strip down somehow, sanding the corroded areas and then a good paint job

Is there a radiator shop near by? Strip it down and take the two halves in to have them boiled

Nice find! I have a 220, it's my daily driver. I got it 14-15 years ago. Great little grill.

So time is slipping away on this stuff. Too much stuff taking too much personal time from me. So this little Q220 is apart and sitting on a shelf in back garage until next year
