Dwain Pannell TVWBB Hall of Fame Mar 10, 2015 #2 I have done it. It works but is unpredictable so creates more fire maintenance. I recommend briquettes. If KBB is not desired possibly Stubbs, K Comp, or other would be.

Enrico Brandizzi TVWBB Honor Circle Mar 10, 2015 #4 I'm just moving to charcoal from Weber briquettes. Dwain's report is shocking but reasonable!
