I guess this is a new thing. With a pipe. I didn't do that. I smoked it on grill. With my new smoker tube.

Sea Salt.



Gourmet blend pellets.



Done. And tastes. Well? Smokey.

 
I've read a lot about smoked salt but never tried it myself. I would think it would make your rubs outstanding!
 
It tastes great. Nice subtle smoke. I'm going to try and use a screen and use it in my smoker. I'll use it in my grinder. As a finishing salt. Here is a side by side.
