First of all....thank you all for this awesome online resource! I've been lurking around this site for about 4 years and have tried to absorb as much info as possible.

I finally pulled the trigger (got approval from my wife) on the 22 WSM a few weeks ago. I broke it in with some baby backs (it sure was nice not baby-sitting coals for 3 hours on a grill!) and then smoked a 7 bone standing rib roast on Easter (followed Chris' salt and pepper directions on TVWB site). The ribs turned out great, and the roast was a HUGE hit! I could have pulled the roast off a little earlier (was shooting for 130, was more like 140). To avoid that in the future, I should be getting my Tappecue this week. Also considering the Cajun Bandit door.

I cant wait to fire it up again in a couple of weeks for a 50 year wedding anniversary party (wings, ribs and a brisket)!!!

Thanks again for this site (and TVWB) - what a great, supportive community for those of us just getting started.

Take care,
Rob
