Smokey Joe & The Teeny-Weeny Vortex.


 
The meat was beautifully moist & a subtle orangey smoke, but the skin was not as crispy as I hope for
The wings look amazing! Did you put a little olive oil on them before putting them on? That's been my trick for "crisp"

Tony, your chicken looks great!I'd eat those for sure! Hey thanks for posting the dimensions of the vortex.I work in a fabrication shop with s/s every day, we generate a lot scrap. I've been wanting to make one for my Jumbo Joe, and 22.5 kettle for a while, but I don't have the measurements.I just can't justify the price when I have all this material at hand. So if any one else uses one of these, and you care to share, please do!
