Smokey joe Jamaican jerk chops

I'm really beginning to fall in love with my smokey joe. Tonight I felt like doing some boneless pork chops. I did them with my favorite marinade. It's walkers wood Jamaican jerk hot and spicy marinade. I recommend it for anyone else out there that likes spicy food. Here goes

I read somewhere on another thread that some folks use the side burner of a gasser to light their chimney starter. I can confirm, it works. And it's super fast. Gonna do that from here on out

Here's the chops sitting in marinade all day long
Here they are hitting the grill

And after the first turn

Plated pic. With some bread and yellow rice. As you can see, I'm not much of a veggie kind of guy

Everyone owes it to their self to try the Walkers if you like spice. It reminds me so much of eating jerk chicken while in Jamaica. You control the heat.
Nice looking cook for sure.

Good stuff, I love it but it is to much for some. So I used to get the milder version but can't find that around here now, I would make two batches to please all

Yours looks fantastic

Hey Robert. Did you use the actual marinade? Your photo shows the Jerk Seasoning. Or did you use both. I found them both at World Market. They had a bunch of the marinade and only one of the seasoning. Got one of each.

Beautiful Robert!!
they charge you 8 bucks for that jar?
That's what I paid
yeah, it's great stuff but 8 bucks??

Hey Cliff, I just used the seasoning in the picture as the marinade. I did a couple spoonfuls of the jerk seasoning.
$8 a bottle is right about what I pay when I buy it. Well worth it!

Hey Robert (And Jim if you return to this thread). Thanks. That's what I thought. Just an FYI. World Market had the seasoning, the bottle in your pic for $4.98 and the marinade for $6.00.

I sometimes get the urge to try making my own homemade jerk paste, but having jars of Walkerswood in my pantry always squashes my motivation to do so. Tasty looking chops! The charred crispy spicy edges are my favorite part of a jerk pork chop.
