That looks so dang good! As a (generally) good Scandinavian, smoked fish is where it's at. Smoked trout is right up there IMHO.

That's the biggest downfall of the Smokefire. The "tending" routine is basically gone, so less beer drinking while monitoring your smoke.

Do you think that she was instrumental in the design of the Smokefire? Perhaps. If so, she's winning so hard right now. But her ghost may be trying to figure out how to constitutionally ban smoked food in general. I still find plenty of other reasons to drink.
