Smoked Cornish Hens

I halved and marinaded 4 cornish hens in a soy, pineapple, terriaki blend then went low and slow at 225* until 165* internal(~ 3 hours). I finished them directly over the coals to crisp the skin using my kettle lid as a cover.

Dwain, those are the finest looking hens I've ever seen!
You Certainly Kicked Baby Bird Butt! I've bet they tasted HEAVENLY!
 
Those look great. I don't think I've ever smoked a cornish hen. With their size they would be easy to brine/marinate.
