Sirloin Tips

Ok, the lamb is marinating for tomorrow night but I need to eat something. Might as well make up some sirloin tips while I'm marinating things.

Picked up some choice sirloin tips and mixed up a little bit of my standard marinade. Added some smashed garlic and sprigs of fresh thyme, S&P.

On the grill with a little Kiawe wood and the thyme from the marinade.

Equal parts
Molasses
Red wine vinegar
Dijon mustard
Then a little
Ketchup
Soy sauce
Worstershire
Smashed garlic
And then what ever else looks good at the moment

I've got a similar glass I use with my single malt-- haven't thought of putting ice in it like that. BTW, I've not heard of that Johnnie before-- what's the scoop?
