Shell-shocked on a Thursday Night!

NY shells on sale at the supermarket for $6/lb...

Rubbed 3 of 'em with sea salt, blk pepper, cumin, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and a bit of brown sugar:

Shell is the same as a strip. In a restaurant I order a "NY Strip" for dinner. When I order the same steaks from the meat purveyor at work I order a "box of shells". I dunno why.

but.... Saturday???? .... that sooo would not make it till saturday in my house.
 
Great looking cook! I have those same steak knives, amongst others. Had them for years and they still work great.
