Picked up some McCormick blue moon seasonings from SAMS awhile back and after tasting it decided I needed to try it on some chicken.
Well last night finally got a chance to try it out. I have only grilled tenders marinated over night in italian dressing and honey on my old gas grill. Usually have a few burnt pieces due to cold and hot spots.
I butterflied two of the boneless/skinless breast and smashed the other two not know which style I would particularly perfer. Cut up some red bell peppers and threw them down too. Some fresh green beans were cooked inside for my two little boys.
I had my 5 year old son help me with the charcoal and lighting and also putting a little seasoning on the bell peppers. Grilled the chicken indirectly for the beginning then moving them on the coals to finish them up. No plated pictures but here is a picture when it went down.
It took a little longer to cook then i originally expected but the out come was great. Stayed really juicy and both my girlfriend and the boys ( 3 and 5 years old) loved it.
A plus to using my new grill is my neighbor knows when I'm out back and brought me some Apple Pie and Cherry Shine he's father made.
Guess I owe him some brisket on my next run.
