Nice save! Jrs. are a cool part of the Weber Genesis story.

This is mine which actually dates to the very first few years when they were called the Genesis XXI:

You can see that Steve is almost certainly right that the table that looks too large on the left was originally the flip up table on the right.

Back at that time Weber also made a stripped down value leader called the XX:

Thank you for the backstory info, Jon. I am excited to have found this rare grill!
 
I can't see the front lip of the grease tray. I hope it has one and I just can't see it. Something is down there holding the drip pan.

Looks like the wire from the igniter may be hanging and disconnected

If you need new burners they aren't available anymore but there is a guy that custom fabricates them out of fullsize burners and sells them. If you need them just let me know.

If you plan to restore this Junior and you can't find anyone to make a Genesis Junior handle. I'll help you out.

Dave recently made a template to make me his grates to fit the Junior so those are available if you want and of course the flavorizer bars and Z-metal and flip table brackets are also available from him.

Warming rack is also no longer available but I learned from Hank on his restoration that a Spirit 200 warming rack can easily be modified to fit.
