Snatched it off of FB Marketplace.
Guy said he bought it new, installed a gasket, a Cajun Bandit door and only used it 4 times.
It's in beautiful shape.
$125.00
I'm going to notch it for probes, clean it up and break it in this week.

Edit: it's got a cover too...

That’s a fantastic deal, but no need to cut the metal for probes. That’s what the rubber grommet is for.

Enjoy!!

Great deal, I prefer the notch personally, the grommet is just something else to fiddle through, I know lots of you folks like it but, I’m a simple fellow, mine is pre grommet anyway, maybe that’s behind my reasoning.

I've actually gotten to the point where I don't need to have a meat probe in the WSM ever since I picked up an instant read.... I use the grommet to hold the probe for pit temp tho - that little circle holds the probe nicely and its close enough for what I need --- I don't chase temps anymore. I'd be fearful of rust if I notched mine.... just no need anymore.

Got a 11# butt seasoned up ready to go on my 18 in the morning!

I use a meat probe for long cooks, and the instant read for everything 😉

I agree that there's really no need to chase temps on these these cookers because they hold temps so we'll.

My old WSM doesn't have a grommet, or thermometer. I did a burn to clean it up and was pleasantly surprised me is how accurate the lid thermometer is. It was within a few degrees of the grate temp.

The notch won't rust, because it gets layered with grease after a nice greasy cook, or two.
